Returns & Refunds Policy – Domain Name Purchases

1. Digital Nature of Domain Names

Domain names are classified as digital goods. Once a domain name purchase has been completed and the domain has been registered or transferred, it becomes unique, exclusive, and non-returnable.

For this reason, all domain name sales are final.


2. No Change-of-Mind Refunds

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect selection of a domain name

  • Failure to conduct due diligence (including trademark checks or business suitability)

  • Decisions made after purchase not to use the domain

Customers are encouraged to carefully review domain names before completing a purchase.


3. Consumer Guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)

Our domain name services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You may be entitled to a refund or remedy if:

  • The domain was not delivered as described

  • There was a technical failure preventing registration or transfer

     

  • The domain was incorrectly listed or unavailable due to our error

In such cases, we will provide a suitable remedy, which may include:

  • A full refund

  • A replacement domain of equal value

  • Technical correction of the issue


4. Failed Registrations or Transfers

If a domain registration or transfer fails due to a system error or provider issue, and the domain cannot be successfully delivered, a refund or credit will be issued automatically.


5. Third-Party Registry Rules

Domain registrations are subject to the rules and policies of third-party registries (e.g. auDA, ICANN, or other registrars).
Once a domain is successfully registered, it cannot be cancelled or reversed, even if it has not yet been used.


6. Chargebacks & Disputes

Unauthorised chargebacks or payment disputes for successfully delivered domain names may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of services

  • Recovery of associated costs

  • Permanent account restriction
